100 Days: Housing for All

Since the Great Recession, housing is increasingly concentrated in the hands of corporations – from private equity landlords to landlords who pretend they are “mom and pop” but hide massive holdings behind LLCs. Corporate concentration and short term rentals (looking at you AirBnB) have driven housing costs up and gentrified our neighborhoods. But they’ve also given us clear, concentrated targets.

Join us for this 100 Days to Build Debtor Power political education event to talk about rent debt, housing debt, and the inhumane commodification of one of the most basic necessities for survival: shelter.

Everyone needs a roof over their head regardless of the money in their pocket. De-commodify housing!
