SUMMARY:WRITING YOUR DEBT STORY | A Short-form & Op-Ed Workshop PART 1
DESCRIPTION:Author\, educator\, and Debt Collective member Kristin Collier 
 will be offering a two-part writing workshop focused on telling your debt 
 story in short forms such as op-eds. In part one of the workshop\, we’ll
  look at sample writing\, discuss focus\, structure\, language\, and resea
 rch\, and do some writing and experimentation together. You’ll leave the
  session with a plan to write a short essay or op-ed about your experience
 s. In part two of the workshop\, we’ll bring in a rough draft– or the 
 start of a rough draft– and share our work with one another\, receiving 
 whatever feedback feels most helpful. At the conclusion of that workshop\,
  we’ll also talk about strategies for publication. \n\nPlease join rega
 rdless of where you are in the process of talking or writing about your de
 bt story. We welcome storytelling around debt of all kinds– not just stu
