DESCRIPTION:\n\nOn March 9\, a group of debtors filed a lawsuit (Havens v
 . U.S. Department of Education) to sue the administration alleging that th
 e Department’s refusal to implement the SAVE Plan Final Rule violates fe
 deral administrative law by denying them the relief they are entitled by r
 egulation and statute. One week later\, the same group of debtors asked a
  judge to reconsider termination of the SAVE Plan. The Department of Justi
 ce responded to the debtors by telling them that they waited too long to i
 ntervene\, so they don’t have a right to be heard. Now\, we’re waiting
  on the court to issue a decision. The judicial fight over the future of t
 he SAVE federal student debt repayment plan has left millions of working p
 eople in limbo.\n\nMeanwhile\, many debtors are wondering what to do – s
 hould they get out of the SAVE Plan? If so\, when? Is there anything we ca
 n do to push back on these changes?\n\nWe will be discussing these questio
