 versities are core to our communities and economy. How do we grow the high
 er ed labor movement while building consciousness of ourselves as workers?
  Join speakers from HELU to explore strategies for building connections an
 d trust between very different kinds of workers so that we can move in coo
 rdinated action in the future.\n\nHigher Education Labor United (HELU) is 
 a national organization founded in 2021 to unite workers throughout U.S. h
 igher education. HELU brings together unions that represent staff\, studen
 t workers\, adjunct\, contingent\, and tenured faculty\, postdocs\, univer
 sity health system workers\, and others. We come together to create and pu
 rsue a unified vision for higher education and to add our strength to a re
 invigorated U.S. labor movement. Unions and organizations representing ove
 r 225\,000 higher ed and allied workers across the U.S. have joined HELU a
 s member organizations.\n\nThis session is a part of the larger Jubilee Sc
 hool: College for All series.
